FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these real TEF Canada questions?

No. Every question is original practice material written by Future Link Consultants in the current TEF Canada format. Official TEF papers are confidential. Our aim is that the real test feels familiar when you sit it.

How is my TEF score estimated?

Questions get harder from A1 to C2 and harder ones are worth more. We weight each question by its level, scale your result to 699 and convert it to an NCLC level with the TEF Canada table. It is an unofficial estimate, not a TEF result.

TCF Canada or TEF Canada — which should I take?

Both are accepted for Express Entry and Canadian citizenship and both report NCLC levels. TEF has 40 questions per comprehension paper and two writing and speaking sections; TCF has 39 questions and three tasks. Practise the one you have booked.

How much does the TEF Canada mock test cost?

One full test costs ₹999, two cost ₹1,699 and three cost ₹2,399, plus 18% GST. Tests in a pack can be IELTS, PTE Core, TCF Canada, TEF Canada or Goethe A1/B1 — you choose each time you start, and you never get the same test twice.

Why does French matter for Canada PR?

Strong French (NCLC 7 or higher in all four skills) can add up to 50 extra Express Entry points on top of your English score, and Canada also holds Express Entry draws for French-speaking candidates. Our RCIC-led team can tell you what your level means for your profile.
