What is inside
What the Academic mock test covers
IELTS Academic is the version universities and colleges ask for. Its Reading and Writing are more academic in style than General Training, so practising with the right version matters.
- Reading: three passages of 700–900 words each on topics such as science, technology and society, with one passage presenting a writer's argument — answered with True/False/Not Given, Yes/No/Not Given, matching headings, sentence endings and completion questions.
- Writing Task 1: describe a line graph, bar chart or table in at least 150 words, comparing the main features.
- Writing Task 2: an argument or discussion essay of at least 250 words.
- Listening and Speaking: the same four-part Listening and three-part Speaking format used in every IELTS test.
Scoring
How your Academic band is estimated
Listening and Reading are marked the moment you submit and converted to bands using the published IELTS conversion for Academic. For example, around 30 correct answers out of 40 in Academic Reading is a band 7, and 23 correct is about band 6. Your Writing and Speaking answers are saved so you can review them against the four official assessment criteria.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between IELTS Academic and General Training?
Listening and Speaking are identical. Academic Reading uses three long academic passages and Academic Writing Task 1 asks you to describe a chart, graph or table. General Training Reading uses everyday and workplace texts, and its Writing Task 1 is a letter.
Are these real IELTS exam questions?
No. Every question is original practice material written by Future Link Consultants to the current IELTS format, question types and length. Real and past IELTS questions belong to the IELTS partners and are confidential, so no honest provider can sell them. Our aim is that the real test feels familiar when you sit it.
How much does the full-length mock test cost?
Each full-length test — Academic or General Training — costs ₹999 + 18% GST (₹1,178.82) per attempt. You pay online by UPI, card, net banking or wallet through Razorpay, and the test unlocks immediately. The free practice test costs nothing.
Will I get a band score?
For the full-length test, Listening and Reading are marked instantly and converted to an estimated band using the published IELTS conversion for your version. Writing and Speaking responses are saved for review. All results are unofficial FLC practice estimates, not IELTS scores.
How long do I have to take the test after paying?
You have 7 days from payment to start. Once you start, the 3-hour timer runs on our server — refreshing or losing your connection does not pause it, but your answers are saved and you can resume while time remains.
