A CLB level for every skill

CELPIP levels match the Canadian Language Benchmarks one to one. Your report shows the estimated level for listening and reading, and your trainer adds writing and speaking.

Why your English score matters for PR

  • Language is the biggest single factor in your Express Entry CRS score.
  • Each CLB level you gain in each skill adds points, and CLB 9 unlocks extra skill-transferability points.
  • Future Link's RCIC-led team can tell you what your level means for your profile.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these real CELPIP questions?

No. Every question is original practice material written by Future Link Consultants in the current CELPIP-General format — the same components, parts, question types and timing, set in everyday Canadian situations. Official CELPIP tests are confidential.

Is CELPIP-General accepted for Canada PR and citizenship?

Yes. IRCC accepts CELPIP-General for Express Entry and other economic programs, and for citizenship, alongside IELTS General Training and PTE Core. Our RCIC-led team can tell you which test suits your profile.

How is my CELPIP result calculated?

Listening and Reading are marked the moment you submit and converted to an estimated CELPIP level from M to 12 — the same number as your CLB level. An FLC trainer gives Writing and Speaking a level using CELPIP's criteria: content and coherence, vocabulary, readability or listenability, and task fulfilment.

Is the Listening the same as the real test?

The parts, question counts and situations follow the real test. Recordings are read by your browser's voice for now, and you can replay them; on the real test each recording plays once, and Part 5 is a video.

How is Speaking assessed?

From a transcript, not a recording. Press “Speak your answer” and your browser turns your speech into text (Chrome, Edge or Safari), or type what you would say. Your voice is never recorded or stored, so pronunciation, intonation and spoken fluency are not assessed. A trainer reviews the content, vocabulary, grammar and organisation of your answers, so your speaking estimate is a guide to those aspects only — practise speaking aloud, or book a live speaking session, for feedback on pronunciation and fluency.

How much does the CELPIP-General mock test cost?

Full tests cost ₹999 for one test, ₹1,699 for two or ₹2,399 for three, plus 18% GST. Tests in a pack can be any Language Test Lab exam — IELTS Academic, IELTS General Training, PTE Core, CELPIP-General, TCF Canada, TEF Canada, DELF A2 or Goethe A1, A2 or B1 — chosen each time you start, and you never get the same test twice.
